I ended 2022 with a reflection of the past year and this year I’d like to do the same. While there have been many trials and tribulations along the way, both personal and professional, J&G Traffic has strived to offer the highest level of traffic management for our customers, as we always have.

Taking time to reflect, I want to extend my first thanks to every client we have had the pleasure of working with this year. From the new customers we have built relationships with, to the old friends turning back to us for traffic management time and time again, we have had the most successful year to date. This success would be nothing without our clients and we cannot thank you all enough for trusting us to help you complete your works.

While it has been a busy year, I am proud of my operatives for rising to the new challenges, tackling each job with skill, and showing huge dedication to the company. My son George has stepped up once again this year, completing back-to-back jobs, working tirelessly to help our clients complete their works. Last year, he showed promise to follow in my footsteps and this year I am proud to say he has been promoted to Assistant Director of J&G Traffic. As his boss I am proud, as his father I cannot express the pride and gratitude that he has taken his role in J&G Traffic to the next level.

Helen, as always, has been the rock of this business, and our daughter Josephine joined us making this year her first year with the firm. Like her mum, she has thrown herself into office life, and is on hand with Helen to help you with all your traffic management requirements. From the initial handover of your work to the final approval from the council, Helen and Josephine are on hand to get your works approved.

With that said, I would like to extend my thanks to the councils and boroughs we have worked with this year. From simple works to more complicated schemes, we rely on the councils to help us get the work done, and Helen and I cannot thank you enough for working with us tirelessly. 

Looking towards 2024, there is already promise of another incredible year. With bookings already up until May, we must once again thank our clients who make it possible for this success. Regardless of how busy we get, my promise stands as it always has, to never turn down a job.

From a one-man-band to myself and my father-in-law, to this incredible success, I cannot thank everyone enough for their support. Many will remember Ray, who came with me on many jobs when I first started J&G Traffic. Unfortunately, in May he passed away, but his memory will continue with the success of this business. I am lucky to have my wife, daughter and son all choosing to help me continue this legacy and as a family business, your support means the world.
